1. Be a United States Citizen.
2. At the time of appointment, be at least 20 years of age.
3. Be a high school graduate or equivalent.
4. Posses a valid California Class “C” Driver’s License or higher.
5. Be gainfully employed or a full time student.
Lasd Reserve Website was attending Equestrian Civilian Volunteers are attached to each Posse Unit and two additional volunteer units located at Industry and Palmdale stations. They receive limited training and act as “eyes and ears,” much the same as our Volunteers on Patrol.
